Opportunity: With the rise of COVID, startups created in the US increased by 24% from 2019 to 2020. Two of the top three reasons why startups fail are due to insufficient funds and not having the right team. This is where Inventure comes into play where investors see potential in a startup and can contribute their wealth and knowledge to the company. Industry Overview: Startups are the future of our world and the amount of startups formed each year keeps increasing. There are two big competitors in this industry, AngelList and Crunchbase. They have their own uniqueness, however, they are not aimed toward uplifting minority entrepreneurs and don’t specialize in crowdfunding.
