It was an incredible week of celebrating YPIE Seniors as they finalized their plans for college in the fall!
As you will see in many photos we captured this week, YPIE Seniors will be attending prestigious and rigorous institutions of higher ed next year. We are very proud to be building a YPIE + Yonkers Public Schools tradition of students attending top-tier colleges such as Lehigh University, Connecticut College, University of Rochester, Dartmouth and many more.
We are especially proud of each and every one of our YPIE Grads for their hard work, resilience and drive throughout their high school careers. We are so impressed by these young people and know the entire YPIE community will continue to be cheerleaders and advocates for our students as they take their next steps.
We had a beautiful College Signing Day celebration on Wednesday, May 4th and the excitement and energy in the room was palpable. As YPIE seniors gear up for high school graduation and beyond, it was so powerful for our 9th, 10th and 11th graders to see the YPIE/YPS college-going culture celebrated at the College Zone.
