Become a YPIE Scholar!
The YPIE Scholars program is an opportunity for you to get support on your path to college!
Beginning in 9th grade and continuing into college, YPIE Scholars are a community of students preparing for college, navigating the college application process, and successfully transitioning to college and beyond.
YPIE Scholars put in the hard work after school at the YPIE College Zone to become academically ready for college.
The heart of the YPIE Scholars program is our afterschool center, the YPIE College Zone. The College Zone is located at 92 Main Street, Yonkers, NY 10701.
At the YPIE College Zone:
Bolster academic skills and get extra support with specific subjects through small group and 1-on-1 tutoring
Our YPIE Majors Program provides tangible skills and deep exposure to possible careers
Develop life skills, meet new people and connect with fellow students and adults
Participate in engagement activities, trips and special events
