YPIE College Advisor (Part Time)

A YPIE College Advisor provides comprehensive college access and enrollment services to juniors and seniors in the YPIE programs that will result in student enrollment, persistence, and completion at a 4-year college.   YPIE College Advisors:

• Collaborate with administrators and staff from assigned Yonkers high schools to identify, recruit, and onboard eligible YPIE students.

• Provide individualized grade level college guidance to each assigned junior YPIE student including assessing each student’s college aspirations and goals, creation of appropriate/good fit college lists, and supporting students through the college essay process. 

• Provide grade level college guidance to each assigned senior YPIE student including assistance completing and submitting college applications, assistance completing FAFSA/TAP/CSS documents and scholarship applications, and analysis of final school acceptances and financial aid packages to guide students to make college commitments.

Senior Director, Academic Readiness

​

In partnership with the Executive Director, the Senior Director of Academic Readiness will lead YPIE program team members to deliver high quality programming (including classroom curriculum) and one-on-one coaching to students.

​

Responsibilities include:

• Refine current YPIE college academic readiness program to ensure that all students achieve academic preparation goals

• Manage YPIE program teams to reach student goals

• Evaluate program effectiveness and lead the team through continuous improvement

​Senior Director, Post-Secondary Access and Success

​

In partnership with the Executive Director, the Senior Director of Post-Secondary Access and Success will lead YPIE program team members to deliver high quality college and career guidance and persistence supports to students.

​

Responsibilities include:

• Refine current YPIE college and career access, and persistence programs to ensure that all students apply to, are accepted to, enroll in, matriculate at, and persist in college

• Manage YPIE program teams to reach student goals

• Evaluate program effectiveness and lead the team through continuous improvement
