  • This data shows YPIE Yonkers 2019 students earned Bachelor's Degrees 18 percentage points higher rate than similar peers.

  • YPIE 2019 graduates earned their Bachelor's Degree at a higher rate than the 61.1% national 6 year completion rate for the NSC Fall 2019 Cohort. (Source: NSC)

CAREER:  In its first year, YPIE's Career Connections program support college students on their pathway to internships, jobs, and graduate school.

YPIE COMMUNITY: YPIE is growing the number of students we serve in Yonkers, Jersey City, and Nashville.  YPIE primarily serves low-income students of color.

Thanks to the Yonkers Public SchoolsJersey City Public Schools, and Metro Nashville Public Schools for our strong partnership and data sharing agreement, which allow YPIE to continually evaluate our programs to maximize student impact. 

Notes:

  • Unless otherwise specified, data is based on total active YPIE enrollment as of June 2025. Information about students enrolling in colleges and universities after graduation is collected from the National Student Clearinghouse (NSC), which collects data from at least 97% of higher education institutions nationwide. 

  • High school students who earn dual enrollment credit may be omitted from first year college enrollment numbers.

  • YPIE Yonkers data does not include CSEE or Dayspring Community Center.

* A 4-Year College as designated by the National Student Clearinghouse (NSC).

** NSC Low Income High Schools have Free or Reduced Lunch eligibility rates of 50% or more; 80% of YPIE students are eligible for Free or Reduced Lunch.
