Zaria Reed serves as Operations Manager for YPIE Nashville, where she supports YPIE's mission to expand educational opportunities and empower students to pursue STEM and higher education pathways through program operations, logistics, and organizational support.

Prior to joining YPIE, Zaria worked with education-focused nonprofits, leading initiatives in family engagement, community partnerships, and strategic outreach. She has collaborated with schools, families, and community stakeholders to expand access to educational resources and opportunities.

Zaria is a Ph.D. student in Educational Psychology and graduate research assistant at the University of Memphis. Her research examines STEM identity development, educational equity, and the experiences of historically marginalized students. She earned a bachelor's degree in Psychology, summa cum laude, from Fisk University.

Zaria is committed to building efficient systems that strengthen programs, support educators, and help students thrive.

Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, journaling, trying new restaurants and spending time with loved ones.
