Susan joined YPIE in 2018 with more than two decades of experience in brand marketing and a deep passion for addressing the inequities in education. Susan leads communications at YPIE, including brand management, digital marketing, content creation, and sharing stories that capture the life-changing impact of YPIE.

Previously, Susan was Senior Director of Communications of Mouse, a youth development nonprofit that empowers students to create technology with purpose.  Susan’s experience spans the profit and nonprofit sectors, having worked at IBM for 18 years and serving in several leadership roles in education organizations in her community.

Susan graduated from the University of Michigan with a degree in Computer and Communications Sciences. Susan enjoys hiking, biking, and exploring new places.
