Emily first joined the YPIE team as a College Readiness Manager in January 2020 and currently serves as YPIE’s Program Director of Student Affairs. In her role, Emily oversees YPIE’s Student Advisory Board and leads the Entrepreneurship Program at the YPIE College Zone, creating opportunities for students to build leadership skills, explore their interests, and find their voices.

A graduate of Syracuse University, Emily earned her Bachelor’s degree in Writing and Rhetoric, with minors in Psychology and Child and Family Studies. As the daughter of two first-generation college graduates, Emily understands the transformative power of education and the importance of service.

Emily is most passionate about helping students build confidence through public speaking, leadership, and creative expression. She especially loves watching students step outside their comfort zones, share their ideas, and discover the power of their own voices!

When she’s not working with students, Emily enjoys hiking, running, and teaching barre classes!
