Danielle joined YPIE in September 2024 as YPIE Jersey City’s Science Research Readiness Manager. She is a first-generation college graduate with a Bachelor’s in Biological Science and Psychology from SUNY University at Buffalo.

Before starting at YPIE, Danielle spent several years teaching in and out of the classroom. Danielle began her educational career as an instructor at the Phoenix Zoo in 2014. She enjoyed teaching students as part of their educational initiative so much that she began working at a local high school. Since then Danielle has dedicated her professional career to teaching science and mathematics. Danielle plans to inspire the next generation of STEM leaders and provide students with the opportunity to experience science in action.

In her free time, Danielle enjoys crocheting, baking, and spending time with her senior dog!
