Cindy joined YPIE in August 2021 as the new College Advisor at Lincoln and Gorton High Schools. Prior to joining, she was a middle school English teacher in The Bronx, NY. Cindy also has experience working with unaccompanied minors and migrant families as well as working with at risk youth in Albany, NY.

Cindy holds a B.A. in Journalism and a Masters degree in Cultural studies from the University at Albany,

One of Cindy’s goals is to travel to all South American & Caribbean countries. When she is not working, she enjoys local adventures and watching football.
