Ashley joined the YPIE team in September 2023 as a College Advisor.

She graduated from Skidmore College with a B.A in Sociology and Intergroup Relations. Previously, Ashley served at a transfer high school in the South Bronx where she provided academic, social-emotional, and post-secondary advising.

As a first-generation student, Ashley knows the impact of having access to resources and community-centered counseling. She sees the college process as a collaborative opportunity with students to craft their education path.  She is passionate about abolitionist teaching, and she is invested in serving youth from underrepresented communities in their pursuits for higher education.

In her free time, you will find Ashley journaling, reading, exploring parts of NYC, and spending time with loved ones!
