YPIE is very grateful for our community of volunteers who make a difference in the lives of Yonkers students every day. Join our community of dedicated caring volunteers!

Resources for Current Volunteers

YPIE Graduation Coach

YPIE pairs volunteers with 9th grade students to develop meaningful relationships that continue throughout high school. YPIE Coaches meet individually with their students twice a month and become invaluable mentors and role models on our students' path to college.

YPIE Essay Coach

Our YPIE students have tremendous stories to share! Guide our YPIE students as they craft their college essays from the spring of 11th grade through the fall of 12th grade.

YPIE Peer Tutor

Do you have subject matter expertise in one of these areas: Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II/Trigonometry, Living Environment, Earth Science, Chemistry, or Physics? Share your knowledge with our YPIE students after school on weekdays.
