Yonkers Partners in Education (YPIE), with guidance from its CBO Task Force comprised of community based organizations, is pleased to provide an online guide: Educational Resources Supporting Yonkers Youth.

At YPIE’s Education Summit 2008, parents with children in the Yonkers Public Schools requested a comprehensive guide that would direct them to supplemental educational resources and programs available in the community. Building on the Community Based Organizations Directory put out by the City of Yonkers Office of Community Services, the YPIE guide is designed so students and their families can find up to date information including times, dates and fees on specific educational programs by simply clicking on a program category or organization’s name.

What makes this directory unique is that both participating community-based organizations can come back as often as necessary to update their information, and if you represent a Yonkers organization that would like to register to become a part of this online, real time resource guide you can.
